Hollywood Bowl - Promenade 3
McM Concrete was proud to leave its mark on one of Los Angeles’ most iconic landmarks—the Hollywood Bowl. In partnership with our esteemed general contractor, Douglass Design + Build, we transformed a previously underutilized planter area along the scenic Promenade 3 walkway into a vibrant 900-square-foot patio space designed for connection, comfort, and community.
Perched along a sloping hillside and surrounded by active utilities serving the venue, the site presented unique technical challenges. Our team began with careful excavation and grading to protect existing infrastructure, followed by precise foundation work anchored in native soil to ensure long-term stability.
The result: a beautifully finished topcast concrete patio, accented with custom-fabricated removable tables set into integrated sleeves and a striking new handrail designed and built by DDB. This welcoming space now invites guests to gather for a drink or a bite, enjoy the view, and share moments with loved ones before the music begins.
This project is more than just concrete, it’s a thoughtful addition to the Bowl experience, a gift to Angelenos that will bring people together for years to come.
