Retaining Wall - Conejo Valley
Staying true to our foundation in structural concrete, McM took on the Conejo Valley retaining wall as a showcase of technical precision and hillside ingenuity. This project involved the complete reconstruction of an existing parkway - beginning with mass excavation and strategic dirt stockpiling, followed by the construction of a 6-foot tall, double-sided, cast-in-place concrete wall. Built into challenging hillside terrain, the wall required expert formwork, stable footing, and meticulous backfill operations to ensure long-term durability. The result: a structurally sound, elegantly finished concrete feature that not only retains earth, but elevates the entire visual landscape of this scenic public corridor.
