McM Concrete was proud to partner with RCI Builders on a cutting-edge aerospace facility for a visionary space technology startup in the heart of Playa Vista. Tasked with executing both the structural and site concrete scope, our team embraced the challenge of working within an occupied, high-security environment—ensuring that mission-critical operations remained uninterrupted throughout construction.

Our work included the excavation, reinforcement, and precise placement of an 18-inch superflat isolated slab—engineered to support an advanced vibration testing machine designed to simulate launch conditions. Rounding out the scope, we delivered ADA-compliant entries, ramps, sidewalks, and curbs, seamlessly integrating accessibility with functionality.

This project not only pushed the boundaries of our technical capabilities, but also contributed to the infrastructure powering the next generation of space exploration—right here in Los Angeles.
